We Need To Talk follows Great Scott, a narcissistic video game influencer (James Maslow “Big Time Rush”), who is loved by everyone except the people who know him best. So when his longtime girlfriend says, “We need to talk,” it forces Scott on a journey of self-discovery and a serious social media meltdown as he mulls how to make things right with everyone in his life.

Great Scott (James Maslow)

An egocentric internet gamer, more enamored by his social following than his social life

James is an accomplished actor/musician, and is best known for his portrayal of James Diamond in the Nickelodeon sensation Big Time Rush.

Aly (Christel Khalil)

Scott’s longstanding significant other, and the only true grown-up in the relationship

Christel is a veteran of multiple film and television projects, and is most recognizable for her role of Lily Winters Ashby on the CBS staple The Young and the Restless.

Joe (Johnathan Fernandez)

Great Scott’s left-brain video producer, and a largely undervalued friend

Johnathan is a seasoned actor and comedian, and his role of Bernard Scorsese has been a series regular on the Fox hit Lethal Weapon.

Amber (Emily Bett Rickards)

Aly’s bohemian whirlwind of a girlfriend, and a consistent detractor of all things Great Scott

A Canadian-born actress, Emily has become a pervasive part of the CW’s DC Comic Arrowverse with her recurring role as Felicity Smoak in Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.

Tango (Tray Chaney)

A longstanding member of Great Scott’s gamer squad, and a self-branded relationship expert

Tray is a versatile actor, performer, and writer, and is best known for his role as Poot on HBO’s hit series The Wire.

Lady Finger (Chrisdine King)

A skilled gamer from across the pond, Lady Finger balances the male testosterone of the group, while flirting with Tango to keep things interesting.

Chrisdine has made appearances on the big screen with turns in Creed II and 21 Bridges, as well as the hit TV show The Men Who Built America.

A stay-at-home parent, Daddy Gamer is the resident father figure juggling squad life with his online gaming family, and dad life with his energetic toddlers’.

Writer/Director Todd Wolfe is an award-winning filmmaker, who made his directorial debut with the 2008 coming-of-age comedy Left/Right. His filmography includes the indie Saddle Up with Mickey Rooney, as well as urban dramas Streets with Meek Mill, and Brotherly Love, for Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment. Todd has also directed episodes of Green Piece, the YouTube comedy series starring Brian O’Halloran (Clerks) and Dian Bachar (Orgazmo).
